The Nanodevice Fabrication and Transport Laboratory – the nanoFab – is an interdisciplinary laboratory of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) where physicists, chemists and material scientists are engaged to exploit NANOTECHNOLOGY resources to foster SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION and development.
The nanoFab is based in the Scientific Campus of UNIMORE in Modena, at the Department of Physics, Informatics and Mathematics (FIM) and is headed by Prof. Francesco Rossella.
At the nanoFab, researchers and technologists from UNIMORE and Istituto Nanoscienze – National Research Council (CNR-NANO) work synergically to develop and test innovative nanodevice architectures with applications encompassing sustainable energy harvesting and quantum technologies.
SEMICONDUCTOR NANOWIRES, 2D-MATERIALS and (POLY)ELECTROLYTES are the building blocks of multifunctional devices developed by the research team.
